Thanks a lot Catherine.LovManif

It's a big house ExtraHappy so there is plenty of rooms, corners and space to store all the love you will send to us... crownH

It's going to take us time to decide where to put what as I am very squirel kind.
I am an awfull personn for that so the older I grew the bigger house we need.

Some years ago I was living in a studio...now I need a a 3 bedrooms.

This house has a sort of patio so we can put the BBK under and even when it will rain we will be able to make BBK if we wish to. fireBounce

The house sounds simply fantastic.

I love barbeques but am not very successful with them.

A friend I knew once used to cook the most amazing food on it.

Has your house got a garden?

Oh yes there is a lovely rather big garden.
When we visit the house for the first time the pergola was covered by a Clematis all in flowers. It was beautifull.

The landlords have kids so we have a swing and something for kids to slide on...but I am way to fat to use them.
I have try the swing...LOLFinger and end up.... stuck on it.

In what are you not very succesfull with BBK?
Is it the way to light them or the way you cook?
There are great stuff to help to succeed to light fire fast and easy.
For BBK recipes any thing can be cook on fire...even bread.
What you can try is to pre-cook vegetables in boiling water so they will be soft and will not burn by the fire than you cook them long enough to give them wood taste but not burn them.
Otherwise put ingredients in papillotte (wrap in silver foil or in a dish that stand fire and you can add any liquide (coconut milk, spices, marinades..anything) it will keep it moist.
You can try to wrap potatoes with taragon ...or apple with cinamon.Fish with coconut milk...
BBK is very basic food and if the food you choose is good you do not need elaborate recipes to make something enjoyable.
Some people are very creative with BBk..we usually do very basic things.

Fire on BBk is not as easy on a kitchen because it's not predictable and sometimes it can be awfully more longuer to cook than plan...and othertime it can be more charcoal taste than food but it's fun food.
If you are not sure about being succefull with your BBk, plan a non BBK dish to ecure your meal and if the BBk faill, you will not strave but will have a lovely salad or pie to enjoy and some fun memories to laugh and remember about. sun

Hi Blandine!

It is because I flap around with worry because it is something I am not that used to.

I would love to do a garden barbque this summer for those that would like to come and now think I will!

And, yes, there can be the other food for just in case!
Blandine, have a wonderful day...
I send Love....

That sounds very wow!

When I was sitting out in my garden the other night, I could smell honeysuckle and when I walked down the garden, I noticed that the hedge was full of this most wonderful flower and smell! Nearby the roses are coming out... I love the abundance of flowers at this time!

And, I love swings too.

I have a swing seat which I don't sit in that much.,.. but when I break up from work I will get time to sit and enjoy....
